Gopabai Damani Blood Bank was established with the great help of Shri. B. R. Damani and Shri. P.R.Damani and inaugurated by the Mumbai Governor Mr. Shri Prakash in 1958.
The initial fund for the infrastructure given by Mrs. Gopabai Damani was Rs.18000/-, Dist. Branch. Solapur 12,500/- , State Branch Rs.5000/-, and Solapur Municipal Corporation gave Rs. 2000/-.
Damani group make an agreement with Red Cross and introduced the committee for this blood bank. District collector is the chair person of this committee.

On 1st May 1985 the Bhairu Ratan Damani Senior Citizen Cultural Institute was established and Mr.P.R.Damani gave Rs.50000/- donation for this institute.
This institute for the people who are above 60 years old.

In the year 1988 Industrialist and Philanthropist Seth Shri Premratan Damani had donated a land in Damani nagar, Solapur. Building was constructed by Solapur Municipal Corporation and inaugurated by Shri. Sushilkumar Shinde ( That time finance minister of Maharashtra State).
Damani Group, Solapur Municipal Corporation and Rotary Club of Solapur all are giving their best for this school.

On 1st July 1937 Late Shri.Dhundiraj Oak started this school in his own house with just five deaf & dumb children. In 1955 he founded a charitable trust by name Welfare Society for the deaf & dumb.
In 1966 Late Shri Bhairuratanji Damani an Industrialist and a Philanthropist appreciated this noble work and donated a piece of land in Damani Nagar on which the present school building proudly stands today.
